Established in 2009, by Jason Archer
SWC – South Warwickshire Construction was founded in 2009 by Jason Archer. In 2010, Reece Colbourne became a 50% shareholder and partner. Together, they have grown the business into a leading commercial construction and principal contractor, delivering reliable, high-quality projects while building lasting relationships with clients who return time and time again.
Project expertise
Skilled at what we do, we’re local experts in commercial construction projects operating on a national scale.
As a principal contractor the size of the projects we undertake can vary from one week to the next, at any time we can be delivering a large leisure project, the following week we can be renovating a hotel, and the next we can be upgrading a commercial workspace.
Large or small, we know our team can get the job done for you, no matter the size of the project.
All our services including carpentry, electrical systems, flooring, materials and components, which we supply through our core team and network of partners. We know exactly what to source and from where, so you don’t have to, unless of course you have a specialist need.

Accreditations & certifications
Our commitment to quality is underpinned by our culture of health and safety. All risks are weighed and calculated in the planning stages of every project.
We use the RAMS framework – Risk Assessments and Method Statements – to understand and assess the risks associated to the project and to ensure the scope of work, how it will be carried out, by who and their credentials, all documented in the method statements.
All control measures are monitored and updated by our site managers as the project evolves to maintain a safe and enjoyable workplace for all.
Every project is delivered in accordance with all current UK H&S Legislation, protecting our people, clients and the public. We also plan, manage and coordinate projects in line with the CDM – Construction Design and Management – Regulations to ensure health and safety is considered from start to finish.
Budget risks & management
Whilst we always do our best to work with our client’s needs, sometimes projects have time, budget, or management pressures.
- The budget is only achievable if all parties are co-operative in ensuring that packages are tendered to economically competitive sub-contractors and suppliers that are adept at undertaking projects of this kind
- We will endeavour to provide a broad range of quotes on each package to ensure value for money
- If a programme is unrealistic from the offset, there is often no room for the appropriate analysis of costs or design changes.
- This can lead to uncompetitive packages being created for speed and convenience, rather than best value
