PROJECT SCOPE

To deliver a comprehensive refurbishment of 90 guest bedrooms and associated bathrooms, at Yew Lodge Hotel as part of the hotel’s conversion from a Best Western to a Crowne Plaza hotel. The project involved the full refurbishment of all guest accommodation and adjacent communal spaces, including:

Strip out and removal of existing bedroom and bathroom finishes
Refurbishment of 90 guest bedrooms
Complete bathroom upgrades, including fixtures, fittings and finishes
Decoration works throughout bedrooms, bathrooms and associated areas
Replacement flooring, wall finishes and joinery
Corridor upgrades, including new carpets and decorative finishes
Conference room improvements, including new AV
Electrical and mechanical alterations to suit the new hotel specification

Installation of new FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) Refurbishment works within the swimming pool area including ceilings, lighting, and doors
External work installation of a floating porcelain patio and spa garden
Wi-fi upgrades with over 110 data points installed
Coordination with hotel operations to minimise disruption to guests and staff

The project was completed to the required brand standards, transforming the hotel from a Best Western into a modern Crowne Plaza hotel. The refurbishment has significantly enhanced the guest experience through upgraded accommodation, improved bathroom facilities, plus contemporary interior finishes throughout.
